Sweet promise of warmer days.
Swamp-joy at evening.
Did you know that spring peepers can be heard up to 2 1/2 miles away? I heard them this evening on my way home and was glad.

I awoke to the sound of a robin singing in the maple tree just outside my bedroom window. It was still dark, but I knew daylight and spring were on the way! I love that you included a fact with your poem.
I’m glad I dipped into your blog today. I went back and read all of your March entries. Something about your writing speaks to me – maybe we are a similar age, maybe of a similar mind. This was a nice way to spend an evening.
